Is it possible to make the forum search work with shorter terms?

One of the main things I used to do is vanity-search for "jmc" (and curse djmcbell when it did a partial match on his screen name). I suppose it works better now you see that someone has @-ed you... but it would be nice to find posts mentioning DNA, Me2, MeĀ², BTL, BTE, RDX, GNP, G&T and likely more.

Haven't seen anything I dislike about the new format. I LIKE the new quote system myself but that's me. The U.I. is much cleaner, snappier and lol, aren't the avatars you can use a little bigger? I was certain it was 100x100 pixels for the old forum and had already resized my new Bender in anticipation. Imagine my delight in seeing 200x200!

That's either Mr.B or The "B" and 2b's to you Mr.E. You can check out my Avatar if you don't like it or me. K.M.S.M.A.

I pretty much like everything about the new forum. There is one major bug however: I'm unable to log on when using my smartphone. Wrong password does what it's supposed to do: gives you the invalid password message and another option to log in. Correct password just causes the login window to vanish as if it's accepted my password... but I'm still logged out.

    Phone specs:
Phone: Alcatel Pixi 4 (6 inch)
    OS: Android 6.0.1

Forgot to say: I was using Chrome.
Just followed your advice PeeJayHarvey and downloaded Dolphin. Thanks, it works fine now, so far.

I do wonder what the chrome issue is though. It's the main one most Android users would use, I'd think.

Edit - I just cleared my data on Chrome (cache, cookies, everything) and that's resolved the issue for that browser too.

I might stick with Dolphin for now though, in case that issue reoccurs in future.

I've also been able to access old account now after the same password issues (I am Mardroid). Which to use? This one has the history but I prefer the new ID.

Guess I'll use the new one as the viewed posts etc are uptodate and I prefer the new avatar which I can't be bothered uploading to this.

I've definitely seen Dolphin have its fair share of problems and as a developer when I sought support with a specific issue, it was like talking to a brick wall. I'd say that if Chrome now works, just use that. The issue you reported sounds very "un-Chrome-like" so I'm fairly certain it's just one of those things and you'll probably not see it again.
The XenForo software does have a way to handle this by merging the two accounts.

A short while ago, I seemed to have the same problem, but Dolphin is still okay. So far.

Don't get me wrong, chrome has been my favourite browser for a while. This is the only place where the issue has occurred.
