Just wondering but will Australia get Back to Earth on television?

The classics are being shown on channel ABC 2 right now and wonder if maybe Back to Earth will be then shown?

I would say get in contact with ABC! Send them an email, write them a letter, get as many people as possible to let them know there are people wanting to watch it. If not a DVD release may happen.

For a little while there broadcasting rights were wrapped up with cable channels.
I wonder if that had some effect on the release of the new series.

Not sure about the DVD, mind.
Oh for the days when the VHS was prompt and rectangular (not triangle).

Yeah apparently series seven and eight came out on VHS before they even aired in Australia. It is rather frustrating that there is no news as of yet.

Try checking the upcoming summer schedules for your TV stations, and see if BTE is in there. If not, just watch it on the internet.

I asked the same question. I think we should all email ABC2, then they might listen. And I also had to watch it on youtube, but it's better than nothing.

Just thought that I'd mention that the BtE DVD is both region 2 & 4. I decided not to wait for it so ordered it from HMV in the UK. :-)
