Well, will it ?!
I love that silly green ship !!!!
With the new effects, man, I bet it'll be cool...
Well I thought that Carbug is, in fact, Starbug
I think Andrew said that only one of the ships would be in the specials, and since the new CGI Red Dwarf will feature I'm guessing that Starbug won't.
What's Carbug about then? :?
However you slice it, it is a form of Starbug, either disguised or transformed or whatever.
So that makes two ships by default.
I think I might have been misquoted...
I love this idea. It could be like the Batman range of vehicles. Starbug, Carbug, Bikebug, Planebug, Copterbug. All kept in a Bug Cave. With the Bug Computer.
The Radio Times site says that Katerina is hell bent on replacing Rimmer on 'Starbug' see Katerina pic...
saying that, it could be a slip of the tongue as they later refer to Carbug as Starbug in another photo...
I like your thinking!!!!
But it says "Starbug" on 'Carbug' - Carbug seems to be a nickname.
All I know is my girlfriend, who will sit and watch Red Dwarf but isn't a big enough fan to read any of this or watch spoilers, will be in fits of laughter when she sees it for the first time. And it's probably all she'll talk about for days after. Of course, by the time I watch the specials I'll be sick of seeing the smegging thing.
JMC Transport Vehicle Starbug.
So it's the JMC Starbug. As such, to my mind, naming the car Starbug means that is also the JMC Transport Vehicle Starbug. The fact it also says Starbug 1 means it's the same ship as the one the Dwarfers regularly use, because having two vehicles classified "Starbug 1" in the JMC ship inventory would really bugger up the computer!
