Enjoying them? I am, I prefer the winter Olympics to the normal one. It gives you a chance to enjoy events you don't usually seen on the telly. Curling and skicross being my two favourites. I also enjoy the downhill skiing and the biathlon, plus the luge and bobsled to.

Yes I enjoy the winter olympics, always have done, the bobsled is probably my favourite event. I haven't watched as much as I'd like due to the time zones and being busy with work and smeg.

They don't usually put curling on the main channels and we don't have the channel package that includes it so I am disappointed.

Like Luge myself. Bobsledding and the downhill skiing. Snowboard is o.k. too. I haven't really been watching but try to keep up.

The concept of a Winter Olympics seems even more boring than the normal Olympics. I'm doing my best to completely ignore them, and I'm doing really good at that so far.

We get quite good curling coverage. But that's mainly due to our team being gold medal winners in the past, and pretty strong medal contenders at most events

I'm enjoying them so far. Hey, Czech Republic has more medals than Britain and the same number of medals as USA. Both are from biathlon - bronze and silver.
I'm looking forward to more biathlon, because we have pretty high chances now. Also snowboarding could be succesfull for us. I'm so happy I have holidays and I'm able to watch it. :-D

What do you think of South & North Korea playing together and their presidents discussing together. I think it's the best what could happen. Goubertin would be happy, that's the olympic idea.

Olympic "ideal" or not, (and I agree with you about that actually), I think it was nothing but a ploy on North Korea's part. A grab for and attempt at respectability. If Mr. Jong-un TRULY had the Olympic spirit he wouldn't keep his countries athletes under lock and key. Goodwill aside it was all just a ploy to get the sanctions eased imho.

Same as big ole. All the bonhomie will last as long as the Olympics does, then straight back to business as usual. Still, 'spirit of the games' and all that

The USA womens' skiiing outfit is based on a comic book character's costume that my friend Jamie designed, so I'm pleased about that.

I didn't even know the Winter Olympics were on until this thread. I don't care for sports in the slightest.

Not a huge sports fan either but I do love my Bronco's and I like the Winter Olympics much more than the Summer ones.
