The outfit of Ester Ledecká, current super-G winner is created by her brother Jonáš, who is also comic artist.

That's cool and all but I really wish they wouldn't allow advertising on the Olympic uniforms. Just tacky imo.

I think it’s a good way of generating revenue for the teams and athletes. They aren’t like footballers who get £100,000 a week.

I think endorsements and ad's AFTER the games would be much more appropriate, but that's me.

They’d be a lot less valuable then. Who’s going to sponsor a speed skaters training gear?

But that only works for the most famous, really good athletes. Many of the rest of them show up to the games some of the best in their sport, and walk away still a no-name who can hardly get anything out of it, who still had to pay their way around the world several times just to qualify. To be able to get paid some to just show a company's name as they compete is only fair, especially given how few people really succeed. '7 and many more' doesn't make up for the thousands who show up each time around to compete among the best of the best and don't come back a famous face that can show off a gold medal.

I think all advertising is tacky, but I also recognize that it is a necessary evil. At least it's not the kind of advertising you get on the internet that tracks you and everything about you. Now that's really tacky.

advertising can be a necessary evil, it is tacky, but some athletes really need the revenue. It's extremely expensive to have the correct coach, nutritionalist, physio's etc. That's why the sports at the winter games we do best in, i.e. luge, is the one that gets the most funding. something, that if you analyse it, isn't really fair, when you consider the message put forward is 'everybody and every sports equal'
