It is pretty much screen accurate

Its the same make/ model of phone and the ariel is correct. It is also the correct red paint (and believe me, ive checked with the right people ;-) ) Ive even filled the holes in the ear piece (which for some reason was done on the original prop)

Really pleased with it and not a difficult build! :-)

    Great job with the phone!

Meanwhile for those who want to save time and purchase the bunkroom's microwave oven it's available from this droid shopping network. ;-)

The one Used in the show looks like the one I used to have in my kitchen, just painted red and with a fake aerial stuck on top. But it was a BT phone, not whatever brand of phone you seem to have used, but it looks very nice I have to say. Pity it's linked to such a lame subplot of the show....! I remember thinking straight away when I saw it that it was the phone I used to have painted red. There's even a hole for the phone cord in the bottom of the handset so you can tell the phone is just a repainted old prop.

The phone used in Trojan was exactly this model a Binatone TREND2 :-) I have checked with the right people ;-)

It was NOT a BT handset.

    Observe...

No, its a silver phone painted in JMC Red with modifications including a new ariel, well a hole drilled for it and the ariel is a LED magnetic grabing tool (the correct brand!) The ear holes were also filled with filler but leaving 4 of the holes free as per the original prop. It is also painted the correct red colour from the series.

Rimmer's light bee was just 2 cones glued together, the Bazookoids were just a tube,an air freshner and a block of wood, talkie toaster was just a toaster...Whats your point? :-D

You take that back about Talkie! He wasn't just a one dimensional bread obsessed electrical appliance. He was quite curranty too!
