Blade 2 On DVD

Danny's latest movie arrives on shiny disc.

Danny John-Jules, Red Dwarf's Cat, had a vital role as vampire Asad in the second chapter in the Blade story. Diving straight in, the date for your diaries is September 30th for the UK (Region 2) release, with early buyers in the USA already enjoying their copies. The rumoured Region 4 release is November 20th - although we're unable to confirm this, or indeed how the Aussie disc will fare extras-wise compared to the UK and US releases.

The Blade 2 double DVD set is stacked to the gills with bonus material. Along with the movie, disc one has two commentary tracks - the first with director Guillermo Del Toro and writer David Goyer, the second with producer Peter Frankfurt and star Wesley Snipes - plus an isolated score track. The second disc contains deleted scenes, a collection of documentaries, director's notebook, trailers, art gallery, music video and more.
