As if the masses of additional material on the Series I DVD itself wasn't enough, the new two-disc set will also come with a booklet filled with behind-the-scenes information.
The glossy 12-page booklet, which I've written especially for the release, is separated into page-by-page sections. Inside the cover is a full list and description of the bonus features, followed by an introduction to how the show was commissioned and developed.
Pages three to eight are dedicated to behind-the-scenes stories from each episode: The End , Future Echoes , Balance of Power , Waiting For God , Confidence & Paranoia and Me2 . From Holly's original status as a voiceover role and the possibility of a black-and-white Rimmer to the masses of re-shoots needed for the pilot episode, it's a chance to see what went into the making of Dwarf's vital first season.
Following the episode tales are 'Watch Out For...' (things you might have missed, plus some Dwarf trivia), a compilation of 'Classic Dwarf' moments and the DVD chapter listings. The booklet will come with all versions of the DVD across regions 1, 2 and 4.
