Even More Stuff - by Andrew Ellard
29 September, 2006
Oh boy, oh boy, oh boy. As if Beat the Geek weren't already a mouth-watering prospect with its new Holly footage, CGI animation, all-new artwork and 8-page booklet - not to mention a preview at Dimension Jump that got a spectacular reaction - we now have news of two fab bonuses.
Firstly, if you buy your copy of the DVD game from play.com why not upgrade and pick it up with an exclusive Duane Dibbley headknocker?
This is a Geek exclusive - Duane has never been released commercially, despite three other headknockers being produced - and numbers are extremely limited. Miss it, miss out.
The Geek DVD and Headknocker pack is only available from Play at a very reasonable £17.99.
Or maybe you'll hold onto your cash until the UK day of release, October 23rd, and pick up a copy from a Virgin Megastore. If you do, watch out for stickered packs that come with their exclusive Beat the Geek poster.
It's a lovely, larger version of the fabulous Colin Howard artwork, cleared of all that front-of-a-DVD clutter, and should look splendid on your wall, ceiling, fridge or face.
Well, maybe not that last one.
More DVD Details will follow soon...
Red Dwarf: Beat the Geek will be released in the UK on October 23rd, 2006 and is available to pre-order via our Merchandise section. An Australian release is also anticipated in November.
