Carbug Goes To Lucky Bidder

After its iconic appearance in Back to Earth, the perfectly-named Carbug was never going to just be sent off to be scrapped. Despite how much the crew hated its dodgy locking mechanism.
While the bidder at the recent H&H auction might surprise the neighbours with the latest addition to the driveway, it's lovely to know that the customised Smart Car - featured, of course, in one of Dave's early teaser videos - has gone to a good home.
The price? Eventually Carbug went for £6,300. And that's before they pay to get those tricky electrics sorted.
