The launch of the Red Dwarf room in the iTunes store - a dedicated site for Dwarf-y goodness with Apple's massive online retail behemoth - heralds the arrival of Back to Earth for download. Hurrah!

Back To Earth Released For Download

Following the release of Series I to VIII (that's 'one to eight' for those of you not up on your numerals), this finally makes every single episode of Red Dwarf to date available for your portable media devices. You know the ones we mean.

Pleasingly, the content hasn't stopped there. Broadcast documentary The Making of Back to Earth has also been included (though the double-length 'Part Two' documentary remains a DVD/Blu-ray exclusive), as have the two 50-minute outtake specials, Smeg Ups and Smeg Outs.

Back to Earth and The Making Of are also available in glorious HD, which we can't recommend highly enough. (Well, okay, we probably could, but it'd take aaaages.) Brilliantly, the release isn't just for the UK - the US, Canada, Australia and Germany are also included!
