Groovy Funky YouTube Channel

Official YouTube channel page launches... with a message from the Dwarfers!

17 February, 2012

In the year of series ten, Red Dwarf is leaving no corner of the web unvisited in the quest for social media domination. Following the success of the recently-launched Facebook and Twitter pages, the latest online home for all things Dwarf is on YouTube, where a brand new official channel has just launched, just in time to celebrate the show's 24th birthday this week.

Gathering together all the existing Red Dwarf content already on the popular video site - from favourite episode clips, to dedicated character playlists, to all the new RDX behind-the-scenes teaser videos - the new channel can either be subscribed to by existing YouTubers, or just visited straight through its fancy and tidy front page.

That's not all, however. As explained by the cast in an exclusive introductory clip, the new channel will also be home to plenty of dedicated new content, including yet more behind-the-scenes clips, competitions, and much more.

What's more, fans are being encouraged to post their own video responses, wishing the show a happy birthday in "the most Red Dwarf way possible" - the best of which will be posted on a special playlist. So get your creative hats on, your webcams out, and you just might find yourself sharing channel space with the Red Dwarf posse...
