Dave's repeat run to count down to Series X.

7 September, 2012

Crikey, doesn't time fly? It doesn't feel like five minutes ago that Red Dwarf X was being filmed, and now we're in September 2012 - and that means the episodes are less than a month away from being shown.

To celebrate this momentous milestone, RDX broadcasters Dave are ramping up the excitement factor with a unique form of countdown. Starting this Saturday, 8th September, on successive weekends they'll be showing Series I-VIII in full. But, just for a bit of a fun twist, they're showing the series backwards.

Well, not entirely backwards. Within each series, the episodes will still be shown in their proper order. But the run starts with Series VIII on the 8th, and will carry on through successive Saturdays and Sundays until showing Series I on Sunday 30th September - just four days before Series X begins. Wow.

The six-episode series (I-VI) will start their runs at 11am, while the eight-episoders (VII and VIII) will kick off slightly earlier at 10:20am. And if you're not up early enough to catch that first run, don't worry, as each block will be shown twice on its respective day. Here's a full rundown of the listings (all times in BST):
