Red Dwarf leading Radio Times "Favourite BBC2 Comedy" poll

Red Dwarf has long had a good relationship with the venerable TV listings and discussion magazine Radio Times, with the crew having earned the distinction of an RT cover on more than one occasion.

And the name of the show has turned up in the magazine's corridors again recently, as RT staffers have shortlisted Dwarf along several other classic shows, in a poll to find their readers' favourite BBC2 comedy series of the last fifty years.

At the time of writing, Red Dwarf is storming ahead in the poll, beating Fawlty Towers into second place ahead of an array of classics such as Hitchhiker's Guide, I'm Alan Partridge, The Office and The Fast Show. There's still time for the results to change, of course, but unless something dramatic happens it's looking like a resounding victory, and a reminder that Dwarf is still one of the best-loved British sitcoms out there...
