Blue Alert

Exciting things are on the way... make sure you're ready!

4 September, 2015

Okay, we know. A news announcement that only consists of teasing a news announcement can be a frustrating thing. But we just wanted to let you know that if you've been on tenterhooks awaiting the latest developments in all things New Red Dwarf, then you might start to get some answers very soon.

How soon? Well, if you've been following Doug Naylor on Twitter, then you'll know that there should be not one, but two, pretty major announcements to watch out for next week:

What's being announced, and exactly when? Well... we can't quite say. There are reasons why we can't just blurt everything out now. But we think you're going to be pretty excited. One thing we can tell you is that next Tuesday (8th September), broadcaster Dave will be launching an exclusive competition that you will not want to miss. So keep your eyes peeled for that one.

But how can you make sure you're up to speed with the latest Red Dwarf announcements, as soon as they happen? Well, if you're on Twitter, then make sure you're not only following our official @RedDwarfHQ feed (which you are already... right?), but also the @Join_Dave feed for any sudden announcements that might come straight from the broadcasters. And just in case @DougRDNaylor decides to sneakily let any information out that way, you'll want to be following him as well.

Meanwhile, if you're a Facebook kind of person, don't forget that important updates will also be shared on the official Red Dwarf page, so get that Liked if you're not one of the almost-a-quarter-of-a-million folk who already have.

And of course, don't forget to keep your eyes right here on reddwarf.co.uk! We may even have to bring you significant announcements on days other than our usual Friday - so don't just stick to a weekly routine, drop in whenever you have a spare moment! There's plenty to do while you're waiting for news, too: you can chat with fellow fans on the Forum, read up on the show's history with our Complete Guide and Features, and check up on your collection with a browse of our Merchandise database.

So enjoy this period of intense anticipation, and we'll see you again... well, maybe a bit sooner than next Friday, this time...?

Red Dwarf XI and XI start production later this year! Keep up with the latest news here at reddwarf.co.uk.
