The latest DJXIX guest announced!

29 July, 2016

It still only feels like it was recently that the last Dimension Jump convention happened. The Official Red Dwarf Fan Club event last took place in Nottingham in May 2015, but the effects of the most momentous part of that epic weekend - the announcement of two new series of Red Dwarf - are still being felt. And yet now we're getting ready to go through it all again.

The next DJ is still a little way off, but ticket sales are already getting close to capacity, and the guest list is starting to take shape as well. This week, the fan club are delighted to announce that Chris Barrie will again be returning to the event, joining the previously-announced Robert Llewellyn and Hattie Hayridge.

DJXIX sees the club return to the Crowne Plaza, Nottingham, over the weekend of Friday 7th-Sunday 9th April 2017. As usual, the special guests will be taking part in Q&A sessions, autographs (at no extra cost to attendees!), optional photographs and "coffee morning" meet and greets; and there'll also be the usual quizzes, karaoke, cosplay competition, prop and merchandise auctions, the Saturday night disco, video screenings, and in between it all the chance to mingle and hang out with several hundred other like-minded Dwarfers.

Taking place, uniquely, slap bang in between two series of Red Dwarf, this is going to be one of those weekends you absolutely won't want to miss - not least because we wouldn't be surprised if it features one or two guests that are new to both the show and the convention. Weekend passes are available at £75 to fan club members and £90 otherwise - and yes, you're perfectly free to join up to the club first before booking. But either way, you'll want to get a move on - it might be nearly a year away, but pass numbers are already limited...

While Grant Naylor Productions fully support the Official Fan Club and Dimension Jump weekend, they are stand alone entities in which we have neither a shareholding or common directors. Nor is there any form of legal partnership. Enquires can be directed to the club at
