Okay, look, we did all the "Down Under" jokes when we were talking about ABC2's broadcast of Red Dwarf XI the other week. So we won't go through them all again. But we're sure that our readers based in Australia will be delighted to know that not only are you getting the latest episodes of the show on your telly at the moment - but you can get out to meet the cast next month, too!

The Smegheads Strike Back is a series of events taking place across Australia in February, organised by First Contact Conventions. And giving you top-notch value in terms of Dwarf guests, all of Craig Charles, Robert Llewellyn, Danny John-Jules and Norman Lovett will be making the trip - taking part in Q&As, photo ops, autograph sessions and even some exclusive VIP lunches.

In clever recognition that getting a bunch of British actors to fly all the way to Australia isn't the easiest thing to do, First Contact have actually organised three versions of the event in different cities across the country - so you can get to it in Adelaide on 4th Feb, Melbourne on 5th Feb and Perth on 11th Feb. Tickets for the day cost $120, or there's a limited edition VIP option (including that aforementioned lunch) for $500.

Which may not be the cheapest convention in the world - but hey, there's an awful lot of airfare to cover...
