Dwarfers of Nottingham

Cast and Doug pitching up at EM-CON, plus a special evening event!

17 February, 2017

From humble beginnings, the East Midlands TV & Film Convention - or, EM-Con for short - has grown to become one of the most enjoyable events in the UK cult entertainment calendar. And no, we're not just saying that because they have Red Dwarf guests pretty much every year, although that certainly helps.

This year, however, they've really pushed out the boat on the Dwarf front - as not only will convention circuit regulars Chris Barrie, Danny John-Jules and Robert Llewellyn be in attendance, but they've also got our head honcho Doug Naylor to come on down, talk about the show and meet fans for autographs and photos.

And having booked these guests for the convention itself - which takes place on the 29th/30th April 2017 at the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham - the organisers have gone one further, and put on a special, dedicated Red Dwarf only event a couple of months beforehand!

EM-Con Presents An Evening With The Cast Of Red Dwarf is happening on Wednesday 1st March at 7pm at The Southbank Bar Nottingham City. The same four guests who will be appearing at the convention will be taking part in the event, with a special Q&A session that will take in some of the highlights of making Red Dwarf XI and XII (and hopefully not give away too many secrets about the upcoming episodes!)

Tickets for both events can be booked at the EM-Con website - the Evening event is £25 plus booking fees, while EM-Con itself has a range of day and weekend packages starting at £10 (or £5 for children). But both events also stand a good chance of selling out before they happen - so you'll want to get in there fast to make sure you get in...
