Con Artists

Upcoming event appearances by the cast!

17 March, 2017

We can still remember the days when comics conventions consisted of a giant hall lined with countless hundreds of long boxes filled with mylar-bagged old comics on sale for 50p a throw. But while we might confess to feeling a slight, fond nostalgia for those days, it's hard to disagree that as an overall weekend experience, the modern comic convention is a much better bet.

Con Artists

Not least because, aside from merely covering comics, the average convention is now a multi-media-spanning extravaganza, featuring guests from across a wide range of cult movies and TV. And some of the most regular guests on the annual circuit just so happen to be our own Red Dwarf cast.

So as the 2017 convention season gets into full swing, here's where you can catch the likes of Danny, Robert, Chris - and even head honcho Doug Naylor:

18-19 March MCM Birmingham Chris Barrie, Robert Llewellyn, Danny John-Jules
7-9 April Dimension Jump XIX Chris Barrie, Robert Llewellyn, Danny John-Jules, Hattie Hayridge, Mark Dexter, Lucie Pohl, Suanne Braun
8-9 April Glasgow Sci-Fi & Comic Con Norman Lovett
9 April Stoke CON Trent Doug Naylor
29-30 April EM-Con, Nottingham Chris Barrie, Robert Llewellyn, Danny John-Jules, Doug Naylor
3 June Swindon Comic Con Robert Llewellyn, Doug Naylor
28-30 July London Film & Comic-Con Robert Llewellyn

And for a taster of the kind of thing you can expect to see at these events, here's a video of Chris and Danny onstage at last weekend's MCM Liverpool:

As ever, please note that guest availability is subject to change - but if we get further news about any additional events they're planning to attend, we'll be sure to let you know...
