Double Rimmer

Chris Barrie and Mark Dexter making convention appearances.

12 May, 2017

A little over a month ago, Mark Dexter had never appeared at a convention before. But following a hugely popular appearance at the Dimension Jump weekend - during which the one-time Howard Rimmer appeared on stage with his onscreen brother Chris Barrie - he's been bitten by the convention bug, and has started to be booked at assorted events up and down the country.

And one of the first engagements on this new schedule of Mark's is a particularly special one, as it sees him once again teaming up with Chris. The pair will be appearing at the MCM London Comic-Con on 26th-28th May - signing autographs and posing for photos, and while we don't yet know if they'll take to the stage together for a Q&A, we can hope that their signing tables will be close enough together that some of that classic brotherly patter will make a reappearance.

But Mark's not stopping there, either - and as outlined on his new Facebook fan page you can also see him at these other events in the coming year:

24 June Derby Comic Con
1/2 July Swansea Horror Con
5/6 August Swansea Comic-Con
7/8 October NOR CON
22 October Loughborough Comic-Con

Not to be outdone, however, Chris himself - not to mention fellow circuit old-hands such as Robert Llewellyn - can be found at these events in the upcoming months as well:

3/4 June Swindon Comic-Con Chris, Robert,
Doug Naylor,
Mac McDonald
29/30 July London Film & Comic-Con Robert
7/8 October NOR CON Chris

As ever, all appearances are subject to scheduling commitments - and if we've missed off an event you know a Dwarfer is attending this year, why not let us know about it on our brand new Forum?
