Did You Know?

Although not visible in the final episode, a door sign gave Geoffrey Beevers' doctor character the name of "Dr Legs Akimbo".

The voice Robert Llewellyn performs when Kryten is reset to factory settings is, of course, an impersonation of the role's previous incumbent, David Ross. This gives an in-universe explanation for his changed voice as having resulted from his crash and rebuild between Series II and III.

At one point it was actually under consideration to invite Ross to return to voice the role, but the plan was ultimately abandoned. Ross would instead eventually return to voice another previous character, as Talkie Toaster in Series XII's Mechocracy.

"Little Green Bag", the track that plays as the "Dibbley family" make their escape, is a 1969 hit by Dutch rock band The George Baker Selection. It was made famous by its use in the 1992 film Reservoir Dogs, in a scene being directly aped here.
