Did You Know?

The opening scene on Starbug's Upper Deck was originally shot during the Series XI run, on a smaller set. When the new room was created for Series XII, this scene was remounted.

The Mercenoid costume had previously been used in several other sci-fi movies and TV shows, including The Chronicles of Riddick, The Sarah Jane Adventures and the Doctor Who episode "The Rings of Akhaten".
