Yesterday evening, as I was on a shift delivering food (which may have also been babies), I took a quick moment of my time to pop by King Soopers (the local Kroger) to pick up a few groceries. Here's a list of all the interesting things I saw:

It looks as though just about everybody is wearing a mask. Whenever I go to my local supermarket barely anybody seems to be wearing one.

Those look like lovely onions by the way.

Well, considering that we are currently in a time of deflation, and that I'm not in the most expensive area of the country, and the most expensive onion is currently $1.19, it's certainly possible that it could have been $2 at some time of year, at some time of day, in some part of the country, localized entirely within his supermarket.

I tend to find they're about on par with a Kroger store, probably within 10 cents if at all cheaper on things that inexpensive.
