wonder why Doug wasn’t there
Oh, they left out the bit with Paul Jackson showing his underpants.
WHERE WAS DOUG????
Was gonna comment that lol
they didn't leave it out on purpose though, they weren't recording when that happened
They left in your question though
WHERE WAS DOUG?!!!!
but where was Doug?
But where was Doug naylor
This is great. And nice Ruby Wax cameo. What a shame we didn't get commentaries like this on the DVDs. The cast commentaries are all right, but not very informative.
Doug should have been there. but i guess Doug doesn't want anyone to think he works with those guys anymore.
I don't know. We probably won't ever found out what happened between Doug and Rob. Maybe nothing and Doug will be part of some of the next commentaries...
However, the comentary is back this Sunday with Balance of Power, so if you want to take part, subscribe here: http://www.reddwarf.co.uk/news/2020/03/26/quarantine/
Well Doug did do commentary with Rob for the bodysnatcher collection in 2007. they did little marketing interviews and talked about other stuff. So to me this does seem like more Doug alienating himself due to the fact he is still making the show as writer, director and producer and they are not.
Rob was also on the set of the AA commercial recently.

Those who signed up for the Balance of Power commentary should have got their confirmation emails.
It was nice today, although the fans having another conversation in the chat distracted it a bit.
Ah I was on it. Didn’t realise you were. Yeah I turned the chat off as it was really annoying. But I got in the smeg stirring question about Paul having a bust up with Craig/timekeeping!!! They’ll probably cut it.
Although did you notice when Paul mentioned The Promised Land and Ed talked about “later series”, Rob looks so awkward...!
A special guest next week (potentially).
Bet it isn’t Doug though.
What's going to be next week's episode?
Waiting for God. Slightly awkward for Rob considering the new ep going out this week
Didn't they do a commentary on The End then? The one for Waiting For God should be interesting as Grant has a very low opinion of it and said that it's one he's not watched since first broadcast. I wonder if his attitude towards the episode will change with a rewatch. I also hope that all of these (like the first one) will end up on Youtube.
