You poor thing. Was it me typing more than one paragraph that was the problem, or do you need me to use smaller words and pictures next time too?
To be fair, English isn't his first language. So it was probably a pretty daunting prospect to try to translate all that.
But he was aware enough of its possible content to acknowledge it as something that might be tldr?
Tl;dr literally means Too long; didn't read. Imagine trying to translate all that if English isn't your first language. Or say he wrote something lengthy in Czech? Got my doubts you'd attempt to translate it.
And anyway, it was funny
No, I probably wouldn't translate it if the roles were reversed, but I wouldn't post a comment like "TL: DR" on the back of it either. Regardless of if there was a language barrier or not I just wouldn't read a post if I didn't have the time or inclination to do so. His English is apparently good enough to post what's IMO really a bit of a rude reply so it's good enough for me to return the compliment.
Yeahhhh but at 17 I reckon we'd all be a bit inclined to be a bit blunt haha. And besides, this IS Smurfy we're talking about - massive link posting legend and the hero who tagged @Stephen as Stephen Hawking
Maybe. I wouldn't have been too surprised to have got an equally blunt reply though.
There's no language problem (maybe there is, but it wasn't this case). The problem is I didn't have time and mood to bother reading these long texts.
This should go to my signature.
You crack me up Smurfy
