Pete part 2 was very poor indeed, but Part 1 was pretty good actually haha
For no better reason than to provoke disbelief in you two?
your right each to his own, just so many classics to choose from
Only thing I liked was the bits with Bob the Skutter.....otherwise I think that episode was a pile of smeg too
i agree part 1 was better
so far i think series x has been good overall much better than series 7,8 and 9 i just hope they make another one
Nathan (Director of Red Dwarf X doc) Cubitt has kindly allowed me to use this Behind The Scenes shot of #Lemons. (As long as Sebs okay with it, ha!)
I'm sure you'll agree that is ONE very impressive set. (Well lit too)
It looks like most of the budget went into that set!
I genuinely believed it was filmed outdooors
I think Lemons is an excellent episode. It feels like classic Dwarf, has a great story and many very funny bits; 'Right, have you got any lemons?', Cat eating Lister's organs, the rejuvenation shower concept, and a great ending. I give it 8/10.
I just happened upon this image, which reminds me of the S1 Drive Room somewhat.
Thought that was obvious
Thanks for bumping this ancient thread to share that.
Weakest episode of X. The time-travel-shower was tenuous to the point of parody. The lemons were actually incidental to the plot, they were just an excuse to get them to India to meet Jesus. Why not just have the time-shower take them straight to India. In fact, why not have them zapped straight to Judea and have Jesus there and the same plot could play out and it would make more sense. Why were there Roman soldiers in India and why were they trying to arrest Jesus of Cesarea.
Thought you’d want blue midget shots?
I watched this ep being filmed. Didn't laugh as much as I hoped.
@KingR76 come back! We miss you in chat. @Cloud wants to see your Kermit.
I saw the episode before, Fathers and Suns. It was, like most of series 10, “ok”!
Everybody likes different. Lemons was one of my favourite episodes of series X. And Series X is my favourite series since VI, by quite a distance. Not that i agree with the IMDB ratings that often, but they have all the X episodes raed higher than most episodes since. I'd go along with that. I have every series on blu ray and i watch X more than the rest of them combined. In the case of I-VI, mainly because i know nearly every line to death by now. But everything from VII onwards, there's no real contest for me in that i enjoy X a lot more than the rest. Since X is alright, but just feels too rushed to properly enjoy personally. Obviously TPL wasn't rushed, but i've only seen it once. Waiting for the Blu Ray to make a proper judgment.
