This year has really flown by quickly. The ten months or so they said it'd be until 'Red Dwarf X' was broadcast seemed like such a long time, but it's gone by in a flash!

Doctor Who's Sept 1st air date was only recently announced. However with a big show like Red Dwarf, surely the biggest in Dave's history, if it were starting in Sept we would known by now. . .

    It's still me!

The forum was different then. All my posts are gone.

I'm trying to figure out how fast RDX will appear on iTunes. If there's a season's pass then I'll be up to date. :-)

    GO

Well, welcome back, and how about submitting your episode ratings here? I'm trying hard to get everyone to contribute.

It's been said that the DVD will be available as soon as the sixth episode has been aired, meaning no gap between the end of the series and the release of the DVD.

Oh yeah, I forgot about that.

I think Doug Naylor said it in a Tweet or an interview.

Current release date of the DVD is the 19th of November, so it would bring the show into line with the 14th of October.

However, God only knows what Dave are planning to do next.

I don't have a link to where I read it but I am pretty sure it was Doug Naylor himself who said it. if I am wrong then i consider my wrists slapped.:-(

If it was said, it was probably a more general "We're aiming to get it out pretty quickly" than an "It will definitely be released the day after" sort of thing.

It seems probable that Ep 6's airing and the DVD release might happen within the same month, and I'm sure they'll aim to get those two events as close to one-another as they can, but anything else is just speculation for the moment. After all, don't forget that the production company, the broadcaster and the DVD publisher are all three different companies!

So do you mean that the DVD isn't going to drop through my letterbox the instant the credits stat rolling on the last episode of RDX. :-( Only joking. I did think that the statement did infact mean, as you wwrote above "We're aiming to get it out pretty quickly" than an "It will definitely be released the day after" sort of thing.
If the DVD release date is 19th november that would put the air dates as suggested by others about the beggining of Oct. We shall know soon enough as the Vindaluna countdown was at 74% when i last looked.
    :-D

#vindalunar at 81.32% and it has gotten very noisy on the feed, come crashing noises and then a bunch of people talking. I think it may be an actual physical set up in a office somewhere, sounds like general office chatter....

Now it's at around 87% and there's a metallic clanging sound now.

The sound is intermittent, it sounds like someone doing weights...
