Craig Charles takes on a guest-starring role in Eastenders.

Following in the footsteps of a great many Red Dwarf actors, Craig Charles jetted off to Manchester at the end of January to appear in an Eastenders special.

Having only just completed filming on the new series of Robot Wars at Shepperton Studios, Craig joined returning Eastenders Ricky and Bianca Butcher (Sid Owen and Patsy Palmer) for the shooting of a one-hour special to be shown at Easter. The special will allow fans to catch up with the characters and find out what happened to them after they left the show.

Reddwarf.co.uk can confirm that Craig features in a guest role for the special episode. He plays Vince, a hard-man trouble-maker.

Other Red Dwarf stars who have also have wandered through Walford include C P Grogan, Paul Bradley, Angela Bruce, David Gillespie, and - in a bizarre and wonderful cameo back in October - Norman Lovett.
