The music biz brings a whole new Crisis for Red Dwarf's Cat.

Crisis Crew are going to be a name to watch out for. Right now their schools know them as 14 and 15 year-olds Joshua Badoe, Rohan Barnett, Otis Wynter, Leon Tennor, Deujean Bernard, Jerome Herman, Richard Miller and Delroy Bourne - but pretty soon everyone will be calling them by their Crisis Crew monikers: DJ Teeza, DJ Subject, MC Corsa, MC Midnite, MC Rugrat, MC Top-Secret, MC Pain and F.A.B. 1 respectively.

So far, so many initials. But the Red Dwarf connection is that Crisis Crew's manager is Danny John-Jules - the uncle of DJ Subject and quite possibly the coolest human being on this, or any, planet. (Danny also recently appeared in the video for new band Intro 2.)

Crisis Anthem, their first single, is available on vinyl in London garage shops. Describing themselves as "the next So Solid Crew - but better" Crisis are hoping for big things, writing their own lyrics and doing their own mixes to produce their own individual Garage sound. Although a remix of Tongue Tied seems pretty unlikely...
