It's always worth a trip to see Norman Lovett's less-laconic-than-it-used-to-be stand-up show, and news has reached reddwarf.co.uk from the man himself that... well, why not let him tell you himself: "I will be hosting the final of the New Act Award at the York Comedy Festival on Saturday, 28th June". "On Sunday, 29th June I will be one of the guest presenters at Spirit of Fire, a Diamond Jubilee Gala Evening to be held at the Royal Albert Hall. It's a great cause celebrating the achievements of the past 60 years of the Fire Services National Benevolent Fund and I'm very much looking forward to it."

The event - which, again, you can find more about from their website - is set to feature other guests, including Honor Blackman, Sharron Davies, Ronnie Corbett, Gary Linekar and Gaby Roslin.

Finally: "By the end of June my website normanlovett.co.uk will be up and running." Lovett finally invades cyberspace? Holly inside your computers? That's gotta be worth waiting for!
