Rememorable

So many scheduling changes that we decided to start all over again!

28 November, 2003

The Memorabilia collector's fair has been scheduled at the Birmingham NEC on November 29th and 30th. The venue's definite, the dates are definite... it's only the Red Dwarf guest list that's been more shuffled than a pack of Lister's playing cards.

However, it's now all locked-down, so we're told, and it's a fairly funky line-up. Chlo Annett and C.P. Grogan - both Kochanskis - will be attending in a move that's likely to cause some kind of dimensional combustion. And Norman Lovett will be bringing his hang-dog expression to proceedings... unless he leaves it on the train by mistake.

Meanwhile The Stamp Centre have Craig Charles on their side. Robert Llewellyn was also due to attend, but scheduling conflicts have forced him to pull out - leaving a vacuum that only one man could fill. That man is Danny John-Jules, and he'll be bringing his ridiculous handsomeness to the show in a stepping-into-the-breech kinda way.

As well as having their guests sign photographs and DVD covers, The Stamp Centre will be adding a third dimension this time around, as Steven Scott previously explained to reddwarf.co.uk. "We have hired a 3D scanner, which enables individuals to be set in crystal - so you can have yourself scanned with Craig or Robert, or Tom Baker who will be with us as well." The laser will apparently be on-site - which means you can leave that day with your very own 3D image of you grinning next to the lovely Mr Charles.

The Stamp Centre will also be launching their new gravity pens at the event. After the success of their original designs, we now have six different designs based on the main characters of Red Dwarf. Starbugs, Blue Midgets and Red Dwarfs float in the background - though our favourite is getting Holly's head to drift back into his monitor...
