Brace yourself for a New Year bonus! Red Dwarf is coming to the iTunes store in 2009.

All six episodes of Series I - click here for our episode guides - will be available in the UK store at £1.89 each, and you'll be able to pick up the entire series for £9.99. Series II to VIII will roll out through the year, eventually making it possible for you to watch all 52 episodes on your *cough* generic portable video player.

No word yet on international releases, but it seems the conversations are happening. We'll bring you further updates just as soon as we're done watching Confidence & Paranoia on the bus...

The Red Dwarf Radio Shows Infinity Welcomes Careful Drivers and Better Than Life are already available for download from iTunes.
