Early buzz on the licensed Red Dwarf outfits.

Cesar UK have updated their website, and in doing so may have revealed the first details of their forthcoming Red Dwarf outfits.

As previously reported, the company have Rimmer, Lister, Cat and Kryten costumes in development, and with nine series of the show to chose from, there's actually a big variety of options available.

Do you go for early butler Kryten, blocky Kryten or rounded Kryten? Old school Rimmer, green, red or blue Rimmer? Padded or straight? Prisoner or Canary? We could do this... well, not all day, but certainly for a good twenty minutes or so.

While nothing has been confirmed as yet - the costumes are still very much 'in development' and everything could change - word is that the choices have been made... and in a couple of cases we're looking at something properly old-school.

Lister's costume is Series I specific - including cargo pants, t-shirt, shirt and hat. Rimmer's, too, is coming from the early series, complete with embroidered shirt and tie.

Cat, meanwhile, is a little more recent, going for the classic 3/4 length zebra print faux fur coat, not to mention wig and pair of fangs. And Kryten... well, it's a full printed suit and headpiece. And, if we're honest, this is the one we're most excited to see. (Though a groinal attachment is, presumably, not included.)

The costumes are due for release this summer. We're booking ourselves into parties now, just to be ready.
