Have You Played Geek Chase?

And if not... why not?

10 September, 2010

reddwarf.co.uk has been shuffling its servers recently, and in the process we were reminded of Geek Chase, the Artificial Reality Game originally created to promote the Beat the Geek DVD.

Well, with all the new site regulars showing up following Back to Earth's appearance on Dave - and since the show got all down and digital with its iTunes store home page - we thought we'd mention it again. (Back to Earth had it's own ARG, of course. An award-winner, no less.)

Geek Chase presents players with the apparently simple task of locating Professor Mamet's email address on the Divadroid website - but the eventual journey takes you through an entire virtual Red Dwarf world. And it all starts at http://divadroid.reddwarf.co.uk.

Complex, challenging, and not a little bit funny - if you're looking to kill a little time at work (ahem, not that we could possibly advocate such a thing) or at home, Geek Chase is just the thing.
