Carpool has grown from its simple - yet ambitious - origins to a full-blown televisual success... but one that remains as simple as it ever was. A car, a lift, a celeb, a chat. Job done.

Robert Llewellyn's TV version of the series for digital channel Dave - permanently referred to on this site as 'The New Home Of Red Dwarf' - has just been Highly Commended by the Broadcast Digital Awards in the Best Content Partnership category.

That's the combination of Zodiak Active, Dave, UKTV... and presumably Mr Llewellyn himself. Maybe Broadcast couldn't spell Llewellyn. Their site does get 'Zodiak Active' wrong...
