All Change (Again)

A warm welcome to reddwarf.co.uk's latest writer!

14 August, 2020

We're sure we're not alone in saying that we're still reeling from the sudden and tragic passing of reddwarf.co.uk's website coordinator, social media manager, and all-round star of the Red Dwarf universe, Seb Patrick.

(If you'd like to contribute to the fundraising page created to help out Seb's wife and daughter through this difficult time, then please visit this GoFundMe page.)

We're delighted to welcome Curtis Threadgold aboard to take up the writing baton. (Under normal circumstances he would also receive a special hat - however, current social distancing rules have made that impossible for now. Also, there was some debate as to what colour the hat should be, but that's an entirely different story...)

Nominated with the blessing of Seb's friends and colleagues, Curtis brings with him many years of writing experience (his first horror screenplay goes into production later this year), and even more years of Red Dwarf fandom (he started watching Dwarf at primary school, the naughty boy). He has made regular contributions to long-running fansite Ganymede & Titan - yes, the one where they use all those naughty words. He is also no stranger to the Grant Naylor Productions team, having first met co-creator Rob Grant during his time as a stand-up comic, and boasts a Red Dwarf merchandise collection so impressive it will give you a "double Polaroid", whatever that means.

All Change (Again)

Besides writing for the main site, Curtis will also be taking over our official Facebook and Twitter accounts, so wherever you choose to turn for your Red Dwarf-related news, he'll be there!
