Danny John-Jules returns to Death in Paradise.

We're spoilt for choice with Danny John-Jules news lately, with the actor all set to appear in the stage version of Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code in less than a month, but this week sees Danny return to playing one of his most-loved characters outside of Red Dwarf, as Death in Paradise returns for a Christmas Special.
Danny joined the show as Officer Dwayne Myers in Episode One of the Caribbean-set crime drama and continued in the role for a further seven series. Also starring Ralf Little, Joséphine Jobert, and Red Dwarf guest star, Don Warrington, the special has been hotly anticipated by fans, not least because of Danny's return following a three-year absence from the cast. Here's the synopsis:
"A wealthy shipping magnate is found dead at a Christmas party. Things get stranger when a man in London receives a mysterious Christmas card connected to the victim's death."
If there's a better way to spend a Christmas evening, then we don't know what it is. The Death in Paradise Christmas Special will be shown on BBC One at 7.30pm on Boxing Day, and you can catch up with the series so far on the iPlayer.
