So, there you are, stuck on the bus with only your mobile phone for company. Sure, you could call your mates and interact socially, but in all honesty they're a bunch of losers who don't understand your emotional or spiritual needs. And your latest downloaded game has been completed twice over, and you didn't even enjoy it the first time. What's next?

Ready To Rok

The Rok Player ROM card, that's what. Watch Red Dwarf on your mobile! As reported previously, BBC Worldwide are embracing this new technology with a series of releases that, aside from some classic Doctor Who, includes a three-episode collection of Dwarf's classic episodes.

Especially chosen by Doug Naylor, the episodes Marooned, Quarantine and Cassandra will be the first available on a single card, presenting some of the best - and most 'talkie', ideal for the mobile arena - shows. The cover art has just been completed, and is presented here for the first time.

The Digital Video Chips (DVC) will be available from Nokia stores, as well as rokplayer.com, priced around £17.

You can link to the Rok Player website via Links.

UPDATE: In-store release date (for shops like The Link) now confirmed as November 1st. The card is also available to buy now from the Rok Player online store.
