Yep, it's September once again - a blessing, frankly, for fans who remember the days when DJ happened in June/July in rooms with no air conditioning - and, yes, the Fan Club is returning to Peterborough.

The guest list is still being put together, but as you would expect the club is doing its damnedest to pull in both popular faces and surprise newcomers. This is, after all, the team that managed to pull Craig Charles back in after an eight-year absence! So far, club chairman James Bull has Danny John-Jules and Robert Llewellyn confirmed, as well as the return of the FX boys.

Speaking of James, he had this to say: "This year will be themed on one of the most popular episodes of Dwarf - Gunmen of the Apocalypse! So rustle up your friends, or even the outlaws, and head over to Peterborough!"

Only this time, we have the whole place to ourselves. "Yes, the whole hotel will be Red Dwarf fans only! This gives everyone a chance to be there at the start and the end of DJ."

Having required an overflow hotel in previous years, this time the Holiday Inn will be entirely given over to the fourteenth official Red Dwarf convention. No more funny looks, and no more gatecrashers from the local fitness association!

Expect games, costumes, singing, dancing, drinking, staggering and falling. Plus the likely prospect of a remastered DVD preview.

Tickets are just £55 for members of the Fan Club, £60 for non-members - but this is a special 'early bird' price. After June 1st they go up by five quid. Within the hotel, single rooms are £57 a night, double or twins are £94 - this rate includes an evening meal as well as breakfast. Please mention Dimension Jump when you call to book.
