Maid Marian series 4 on DVD.

It's time for another trip around Tony Robinson's Sherwood forest as series four of Maid Marian and her Merry Men, starring Red Dwarf's own Danny John-Jules, arrives on DVD on February 19th.

Danny, in fact, is a bit of a star on this particular shiny disc. He appears alongside cast and crew on an episode commentary ("What was that show you were in? Mauve Midget?" Robinson asks), as well as in the improvised cast sketches - one featuring baby John-Jules!

So, two episode commentaries, an interview with show artist Paul Cemmick, and filmed nonsense with the team - the aforementioned sketches, plus their various attempts to pitch a new series of Marian. Oh, and seven splendid episodes, too!

At this point, however, the appeal of the irritatingly catching theme tune has worn off...
