Red Dwarf scoops British Comedy award for second year in a row!

We're delighted to report that for the second year running, Red Dwarf has won Best Returning Comedy at the Comedy.co.uk Awards!

The online awards are the largest in the UK dedicated solely to the previous year's outstanding comedy TV and radio shows - and are voted for entirely by the public, with hundreds of thousands of votes cast each year. It's especially impressive for Red Dwarf XII to have taken home the award, given that this year the category also featured the hugely popular Peter Kay's Car Share and the triumphant return of The League of Gentlemen.

Sadly, we didn't manage to repeat last year's double win and take home the overall Best Comedy award - that one went to the critically acclaimed Inside No. 9 instead - but nevertheless, bagging three comedy awards in the space of two years... it's not half bad, is it? And it's a very nice way to kick off our thirtieth anniversary year...
