Just a brief note to let you know that Danny John-Jules will be attending the latest Memorabilia collector's fair at the Birmingham NEC, April 2nd-3rd. There are stacks of other guests lined up, but none of them were in Red Dwarf and, well, that's what this site is about.

In a vague attempt to pad this item out, did anyone else catch Mr John-Jules being interviewed for The Last Laugh on BBC3? The channel is giving new writers the chance to write the last ten minutes of one of six sitcom scripts by various UK 'names' - from Ian 'Rab C Nesbit/The Crouches' Pattison and Paul 'Vicar of Dibley' Mayhew-Archer to Jonathan 'Gimme Gimme Gimme' Harvey and James Hendrie, co-writer of Series VII's Nanarchy. Along with many others, Danny waxed vocal about what makes a good sitcom, particularly isolating Rising Damp, and there was even a cool little Dwarf graphic used as part of some animated 'instructions'. Fascinating.
