Now You Can Do it2i2

Robert Llewellyn launches the trailer for his new DVD.

3 February, 2006

From Robert Llewellyn, the man behind the rubber mask of Kryten, comes a new techno-comedy-mock-doc. Streets ahead of his previous DVD Woman Wizard - itself a laugh-out-loud combination of technology, realistic format and wit - this new project is entitled it2i2. (That's pronounced it-two-I-two, by the way.)

Now You Can Do it2i2

The trailer has just appeared on it2i2.com (link via Links), and already there's lots of interesting stuff to discuss. Robert's strapped on some prosthetics to play a caravan-residing techy who, frankly, bears a resemblance to Two Fat Ladies' Clarissa Dickson-Wright. (See the image and tell us it ain't so.)

The trailer lets us in on a few guest appearances, too, and while lads will find some pleasure with Lisa Rogers' guest role, we're most excited to see Red Dwarf's own Tony Hawks - the cameo king who played the Vending Machine, Better Than Life Guide, Talking Suitcase, Backwards Compere and Emperor Caligula.

Robert recently emailed his nearest and dearest - or possibly just every name in his address book - advising that it2i2 is due for release in March. The DVD will include the comedy documentary itself as well as behind the scenes footage, plus 'an interview with one of the country's top scientists'.
